Brief
The Morse Learning Portal is a powerful new IT system for the education sector. Morse asked Marketplace Creative to write, design and produce an animated demo that communicated to potential buyers – in a fun, exciting way – what the Learning Portal could do and how it could benefit them.
Challenges
Designing and creating an original animated character that would serve as the ‘guide’ throughout the animation. Also storyboarding and scripting the nearly 5 minute run time, coordinating all the elements that needed to go in, and keeping it interesting and relevant.
Results
There was a great deal of excitement on the delivery of the final film – we had exceeded the client’s expectations and produced a piece that they were very proud of. As a result, it was distributed over more media channels than originally planned, ensuring great exposure.
Marketplace in action
We managed all aspects of the project – writing the script, sourcing a professional voiceover artist and having the narration recorded, designing the ‘Morse Morph’ character concepts, building and animating the final piece and delivering the animation in multiple formats for a range of uses by the client.
